My early morning walk around downtown did not yield any images. The flat morning light was not very inspiring, so I decided to head home. On my drive home, the sun started breaking out and I decided try my luck again. My first photographs of the Princes’ Gate (not shown here) resulted in a visit from the area security guard. It seems that any time I bring out my tripod, I get a visit from a security guard. Some of these encounters can become very confrontational but this individual is pleasant and allows me to continue photographing in the area. As I walk around the grounds, I see the Grand Stands and the clouds look fantastic.
